INTERVIEWING HISPANICS/LATINOS

 

With more than 50 million people, the Hispanic/Latino population makes up more than 16% of the population of United States.

Therefore, in many areas of the country (South Florida, Southern California, and Texas, to give a few examples), interviewing only English-speaking customers is probably not representative of who is visiting your place of business day after day.

While some clients are concerned that the process of interviewing both English and Spanish speaking customers is a massive undertaking, it really isn't. MKMR has extensive experience using:

    Spanish spoken most often in the location(s) you want researched

TIP: Even in Hispanic/Latino areas where the vast majority is bilingual and could easily complete your survey in English, if you do not offer them a choice between taking the survey in English or Spanish, many will be offended and won't participate.
